Greenvit, a family-owned company founded by siblings in Poland, will be exhibiting its latest ingredients and technologies at SupplySide Global. The company has specialized in botanical and berry extracts for 15 years, and is now debuting in the North American market.

The company will showcase its recently-launched membrane extraction line, which uses a closed-loop water system powered by solar energy. This process preserves the natural potency of raw materials and eliminates the need for carriers like maltodextrin or silica.

The company’s flagship Aronia extract features a potent antioxidant profile, and is suitable for condition-specific blends. The company is recognized for its expertise in berry-based extracts, and is the world’s leading producer of Aronia extract, according to Rafal Pietruszyński, CEO.

“In line with our dynamic international expansion, Greenvit has recently announced the opening of a new office and warehouse in the United States (New Jersey). This milestone marks a significant step toward strengthening partnerships and ensuring faster, more efficient access to its products for customers across North America,” he said.

Late spring frosts in Poland significantly lowered Aronia berry yield this year, but the company has secured sufficient quantities of Aronia raw material to ensure continuity of its extracts in the face of growing demand, Pietruszyński reported. “We have long-standing relationships with trusted farmers, with whom we have signed long-term contracts. Direct collaboration with growers is crucial in our industry, and these established partnerships are vital to our operations.”

Approximately 14,000 hectares are dedicated to Aronia cultivation, located primarily in the Mazovia, Lublin, and Łódź regions. The country accounts for about 70-75% of Aronia production
